Anybody knows this bird? Sorry for very bad photos. I thought could be eyebrowed thrush. Taken in woddland clearing, lamma island

Because I can see what it actually is, I can say that it was basically much too small for Eye-browed Thrush, or any Turdus thrush in fact. It was also actually mainly olive-green on the upperparts, which as the second picture shows, are lightly streaked. It's actually a pipit, so referring to any field guide featuring the species which commonly occur in HK, should allow you to identify it. Good luck! Mike Turnbull
