Photographed yesterday around the fish ponds. At first I thought it was a Grey Wagtail and then checking the book changed my mind to Eastern Yellow Wagtail (race tschutschensis ). Can someone confirm? Neil Mai Po fish ponds, Hong Kong, China. 11/04/06 Olympus 7070wz and Swarovski STS80HD scope and Sw 30x eyepiece and DCA adapter

Whislt this is certainly a Yellow Wagtail, I would not like to ascribe it to subspecies. Tschtschensis (or simimilla as it used to be called in HK) is a blue-headed wagtail, and shows a very narrow supercilium. The other possibility taviana shows a broads, but yellow super, this bird fits neither!
