Can someone confirm? Neil   Mai Po fish ponds, Hong Kong, China. 11/04/06   Olympus 7070wz and Swarovski STS80HD scope and Sw 30x eyepiece and DCA adapter « Last Edit: Apr 12th, 2006, 9:17pm by BBS Moderators » Logged Paul Leader BBS Member BBS Senior Member     Posts: 83 Re: Unsure Wagtail at Mai Po fish ponds? « Reply #1 on: Apr 13th, 2006, 11:35am » Quote Modify Whislt this is certainly a Yellow Wagtail, I would not like to ascribe it to subspecies.  Tschtschensis (or simimilla as it used to be called in HK) is a blue-headed wagtail, and shows a very narrow supercilium.  The other possibility taviana shows a broads, but yellow super, this bird fits neither!
