A group of about 20 Greenshanks flew into 16/17 late in the day on Friday ( I think they had been hanging out in front of Hide 8 ). Could the heavily streaked bird on the left be the Nordmann's? I think they are all Common Greenshank, I'm afraid. You'd expect the different shape of the bill to show up in a shot like this,but they all look the same in that respect to me.   Good luck though in your efforts to see one!   Mike Turnbull.
