Unsure Watercock at Mai Po

At first I thought this was a bittern the way it was behaving but the head was not right. Is it a Watercock? Neil

Yes it is a Watercock, Neil.
Not perhaps one for the purist photographers, but captures the modus operandi of this species very well.
