This is a large acrocephalus warbler rather than a cettia, P.W. It doesn't seem to have much of a supercilium, except perhaps in the third shot, but I think it's an Oriental Reed Warbler. Japanese Bush Warblers are very scarce indeed before early November, on the basis of past records. Mike Turnbull
