On Saturday evening I saw a Streaked Spiderhunter singing from a banana tree near the Big gate from the Man Duk Yuen temple near the farm. This bird is likely to be an escape as its nearest home range is the western half of Guanxi and Yunnan, but is a spectacular bird to see in Hong Kong. It is like a giant female sunbird, with a long curved bill sreaky green back white front with black streaks and birght orange feet. There was alo one Slaty-backed Forktail near rthe lower waterfall the same evening.
