A Buff-bellied Pipit was seen at Tai Tam on 20 Dec. Structurally it is similar to Olive-back Pipit, but with more heavily streaked breast and flank, one distinguishable black patch below the throat at each side as well as primaries and secondaries with white rim. The exact location was a path running along Tai Tam Reservoir (sometimes also called Tai Tam Upper Reservoir). The path branches off from Tai Tam Reservoir Road just before crossing the bridge that runs over Tai Tam Reservoir, if starting from Parkview. Other birds seen included one Rufuous-necked Scimitar Babbler and more than five Chestnut Bulbul.
