Two common starlings were seen at Kam Tin at 12:30 pm on 11 Jan. Don't know whether it was previously reported. BTW, the two Eagle Owls at Tsim Bei Tsui found on 10 Jan were not seen in the morning of 11 Jan. Poor quality pictures of two owls were taken on 10 Jan and will put them here later.

There have recently been at least four common starlings at Kam Tin. They are usually present at the northern end of the Buffalo Fields, especially where the buffalo are present. Also there are at least 13 Grey-headed Lapwings in the area this winter - usually at the southern end of the Buffaalo Fields near West Rail.
