2 Rock Thrush species at Kadoorie Farm

This morning at Kadoorie Farm two species of Rock thrush - Blue Rok Thrush and Chestnut-bellied Rock Thrush were seen at the upper levels. A male Blue Rock Thrush was at the top of Kwun Yam Shan. A pair of Chestnut-bellied Rock Thrush were seen from the road above and left of the Orchid Haven. Alsio there were three or four Red-flanked Bluetail, two Daurian Redstart and a small flcok of buntings including Trsitram's (at least 3), Black-faced and Little. Please note you need permission to drive a car into Kadoorie Farm (tel: 2488 4481). Opening hours are 9:00am to 5:00pm, 7 das a week. Cheers Mike K

The Crestnut-bellied Rock Thrushes were again seen at Kadoorie Farm. Today they were seen on the same slope, but lower down - from the roads below the helipad. There were also: 2 Pale Thrush 2 White's Thrush 2 Grey-backed Thrush 2 Black-tailed Hawfinch (Chinese Grosbeak) 1 Red-tailed Robin (Convent Garden) Cheers Mike
