On Sunday 14th a pair of Mountain Tailorbirds was seen together at close range about 800 m above the temple near the "second bend" in the trail. I first saw Mtn Tailorbird in Ng Tung Chai at this exact location in May last year. I also saw what was probably another one from the bed of the stream about 100 below the first waterfall. Seems like they are doing well in the good forest of NTC. Cheers Mike

Mountain Tailorbirds are regularly seen at Tai Po Kau as well. Moreover during my last two visits the Kowloon reservoir, Mountain Tailorbirds were recorded too.
