One Asian Barred Owlet was regularly seen at daytime (around 8:00 am) in March at Ngau Tam Mei. The channel is connected with San Tam Rd. The Rd runs parallel with San Tin Highway. You could use the Fairview Park traffic circle to join San Tam Rd if you use San Tin Highwy. The bird was found near fishponds on the right hand side of the channel (when San Tin Highway is behind). The fishponds are roughly in the middle of the channel. The shape of the ponds are long and narrow and most of the ponds are concrete tanks covering by nets. It was always seen on a tall bare tree. I have some photos of the bird but can't post it here as no photo website is registered. May the webmaster give me some help? Captain

Hi, Captain, Pls indicate the part of San Tam road where you find the Asian Barred Owlet. Is it near Sha Po Tsuen Road?

The site is not on San Tam Road . I remember the road is called Chun Sin Road. It is built due to the Ngau Tam Mei channel. Captain
