Breeding Striated Yuhina in STP ! 沙田坳栗耳鳳[眉鳥]添丁

Three juvenile Striated Yuhina have been seen in Sha Tin Pass .
The juvenile seem like no crest but it apparently have shorter crest than the adult and the underpart is pale grey while the adult is white .
I have not seen the begging behaviour from the juvenile and they were so active to seek insects on the tree top . I think they tend to be independent from the adult .
It may be the second breeding record of Striated Yuhina in Hong Kong .
今日在沙田坳發現三隻栗頭鳳眉鳥幼鳥，牠們的冠羽比較成鳥的短小，而腹羽帶淡 灰。牠們沒有向成鳥討食的行為，相信這是香港第二個栗頭鳳眉鳥繁殖的紀錄。

Sounds like Sha Tin Pass is really an interesting birding site  as always been recommended by you.... I really want to have a go when the weather is cooler in Autumn
