Shing Mun Outing Report 城門觀鳥活動報告 27/4/2003

Today about 20 people joined the outing held at Shing Mun. We have lunch together in Tseun Wan after bird watching.
The species we recorded are as following:
1. Black Kite - 10 nos.
2. Crested Goshawk - 1 no.
3. Spotted dove - 1 no.
4. Large Hawk Cuckoo - heard - 1no.
5. Great Barbet - 1 no. seen & 2 nos. heard
6. Korel - heard - 1 no.
7. House Swift - 2 nos.
8. Tree Sparrow ( in Tseun Wan ) - 1 no.
9. Scarlet Minivet - 2 nos.
10. Grey-thorated Minivet - 2 nos.
11. Crested Bulbul - 20 nos
12. Chinese Bulbul - 15 nos.
13. Chestnut Bulbul - 5 nos.
14. Mountain Bulbul - 3 nos.
15. Magpie Robin - 2 nos.
16. Eyebrowed Thrush - 2 nos.
17. Yellow-browed Warbler - 1 no.
18. Common Tailobird - 5 nos.
19. Hainan Blue Flycatcher - 2 no. ( M & F )
20. Perkin Robin - 2 nos.
21. Silver- eared Mesia - 10 nos.
22. Rufous- necked Scimitar Babbler - 1 no.
23. Hwamei - heard - 1no.
24. Rufous- capped Babbler - 1 adult with 4 juvenile
25. Blue- winged Minla - 8 nos.
26. Great Tit - 4 adult & 2 juvenile
27. Scalet- backed Flowerpecker - 1 no.
28. Japanese White- eye - 10 nos.
30. Jungle Crow - 2 nos.
