The outing to Lo Kei Wan today has attracted a lot of people, but birds have not cooperated. First of all, the group split into two, with the walkers talking the bus, but willing to walk all the way to Shek Pik. The other group take a taxi but end up in see the dense populated camp site at Lo Kei Wan. Therefore nothing special has been seen. The male and female Daurian Redstart have shown up briefly. On the way back Shui Hau, there were still no luck. A flock of about 30 Jungle Crow was the highlight. All of us get a wet feet while walking on the "wetland". The butterflies showed up well, and at one place, about 30 were concentrated in a small area. At the same place, there was a Spotted Dove without the "spotted necked". Bob suggested that it may be an old bird. According to the book, juveniles have this feature at well. The really best bird of the day was the White-bellied Sea Eagle in Tung Chung. HF Cheung

今天只拍人,沒有拍鳥。 Catch of the day – no birds. 離開籮箕灣 Out of Lo Kei Wan 親身(腳)體驗甚麼是濕地。 Appreciate what is wetland, with our feet. 找到一隻沒有珠頸的斑鳩。 Spotted a “Spotless Dove”.
