This is a very good bird.Congratulations! Please could you help other birders to see it by giving the location when it was seen and anyother informtion which might be helpful.

Unfortuantely, Owen was not the one who found this bird nor the photographer. I dun think he will know where is the bird.

FYI, the bird was photographed by someone named P4_Killer. He posted the photos at the Photography Fans Club. The link was posted here by Owen.
P4_Killer had requested Dominic to post the find here but there is a concern about disturbance / harm to the bird if the location is disclosed. The recent case of the Malayan Night Heron is a good reference.
According to P4_Killer's post very early this morning, the bird was still there yesterday. So far it's location has not been disclosed in public.
Shall we visit the bird in an organized and controlled way, perhaps with a limit to the no. of flashes to be fired?

If he feels that way, then fine. However, for the purposes of placing this bird on the official record, can I suggest that somebody keeps in touch with this guy and gets the details of date and location once he's happy to release them (presumably after the bird is gone).
