An unusual black-throated laughingthrush was seen in Kam Shan today. It has totally black face/cheeck intead of white. I recognize it as a black-throated Laughinghtursh as it's size, body color and the white forehead match except the face color. Same kind of bird was observed in same area 3 years ago. I suspect it's another sub-species of BTL, but I can't find any info. on it. Does anyone has similar observation of this bird? Gary
