米埔雀鳥記錄 Bird Records from Mai Po Nature Reserve : 15 February – 28 February 2006
Dear HKBWS members,
Although Mai Po remains closed to the public, WWF has continued essential research and monitoring work inside the Nature Reserve under special permission from AFCD. Whilst conducting this work, birds are either directly or anecdotally recorded. Below is a list of those birds for your reference including a few from outside the Nature Reserve:

Lots of good birds still at Mai Po.
Perhaps we need to start putting more pressure on the government so that they reopen the reserve soon!
That way we will all get to enjoy these birds!

Lots of waders at Mai Po today, but the only thing that I think was new was a Little Stint, seen off the Borardwalk on the falling tide (found by Y.T. Yu)
