Bob and I got to NSW early this morning but the light was poor and there was not many birds about other then the usual . As we were getting ready to go as the tide was almost full hundreds of waders flew into the back of the mud flats. Mostly they seemed to be Redshanks,Spotted Redshanks,Marsh Sandpipers and Greenshanks. As the tide kept rising they had to move on after about half an hour in the direction of Mai Po. This is not a good photo digiscoped from 300 meters in poor light (60x on the scope zoom and 2.2x in the camera ). Neil NSW, Hong Kong, China. 31/03/06 Olympus 7070wz plus Swarovski STS80HD scope and 20-60x zoom eyepiece
