Thanks Alan for preparing the birding record. Although the weather was misty with a few showers, there were total 28 members/non-members joining the outing. During the 3 hours "walking-&-watching" at the fishponds of Tai Sang Wai & Lut Chau, we recorded total 48 bird species including the excellent view of a Chestnut-eared Bunting and 3 Little Bunting. Many Red-throated Pipits were found walking at the paths/roads between the fishponds. The most unforgettable scene was over 100 Oriental Pratincole flew passing above us and about 20 of them flew to and fro just above our heads for feeding. Photos of flying Oriental Pratincole Thank Mr. Or and Henry for leading the outing. Cheers, Forrest

I would like to add two more common ones: Japanese White-eye 暗綠繡眼鳥 Masked Laughingthrush 黑臉噪鶥 Including the two Prinia mentioned by elain lee, the total would be 52 then.

Happy birding on last Sunday! I regret that I could not join the tour. Could somebody please tell me roughly the birding route(s) in Tai Sang Wai or Lut Chau area. I would like to explore the area after getting your advice. Many thanks.
