Possible Malayan Night Heron
Three WWF-HK staff (including myself) have now seen this bird over the last 3 months at Mai Po. All sightings were brief and not sufficient to identify the bird accurately, but all descriptions point to a Malayan Night Heron.
Two of the recent encounters were at Pond #24f. I would be grateful if any birdwatcher/photographer could help with this record as it may be very significant.

Have all the sightings been at #24 or have they been elsewhere.
Is the bird seen in the late evening, early morning or anytime.
Has it only been seen in flight or has it been seen on the ground
