嗯，據Pippen形容，麻鷹盤旋的聚點在高廈頂端附近，
是有可能在「玩氣流」的。
另外，有時看見一堆麻鷹在高空中聚集盤旋，越聚越多，好似「趁墟」一樣，好有 趣啊！

請問little_dolphin，什麼是"「麻鷹旋風」現象"啊？
是指麻鷹黃昏聚集時，數百隻麻鷹在空中形成多個旋轉軸心，又穿梭如鯽，遠看猶 如「旋風」漫吹一樣的盛況嗎？
不過，倒未曾聽過「麻鷹旋風」這名堂。是從英文譯過來的嗎？很好奇，可否解釋 一下哩？謝謝啊！

「麻鷹旋風」這名堂是我自己起的。  這當然是指Etta前輩所說的「數百隻麻鷹在空中形成多個旋轉軸心，又穿梭如 鯽，遠看猶如『旋風』漫吹一樣的盛況」。 
好像很難再找到另一個城市有這麼多的麻鷹飛來飛去的，對吧？

Thanks for your sharing! 「麻鷹旋風」 I like it!
Due to some reference information, In Asia, other than Hong Kong, we could see a large number of Kites assemble at dusk in Japan. But I don't know whether this could be easily seen in the city like the Magazine Gap or the Stonecutters Island in Hong Kong. We are indeed, very lucky!
Have you go Kite-watching recently? Since the wintering Black Kites have arrived, tt's a good time to watch the marvellous dusk Kite assembly「麻鷹旋風」now, don't miss it!

Dear Etta,
May I ask where do birdwatchers usually view the kites in Magazine Gap? The section of Magazine Gap Road at Bowen Road or the section nearer to Peak Road? Also, are there any kite-watching meetings there in late December or January?
I'm studying in the University of Hong Kong. I'll try to go there if I have time. (Sadly, I have examinations next week  ) Then, I have to figure out how to get there from HKU.
Hope more people can appreciate the 麻鷹旋風 events here!

It's along the Peak Road that's near the junction of the Barker Road. Time is the key, please arrive there in an hour before sunset. By the way, if you are interested, I would like to recommend you to participant in the Kite Reserach Group's monthly Kite Count survey which partly carry at this location.
The Kite group convenor and most of the Kite group members are graduates from HKU, you might feel familiar and it's a great sharing!
