For members reference. A news report in Japanese on SARS and wildlife band in Japan. Quote" ---------------------------------- The ban of wildlife trade because of SARS is also reported here in Japan. Here is the news from Yomiuri Shimbun (Dok-mai Sun-mun). http://www.yomiuri.co.jp/world/news/20030503id23.htm The newspaper is not optimistic that the ban will solve the problem of wildlife trade because it is so deep rooted in Cantonese culture. It suggests black market will thrive. Well, that is something we can do. Need to carefully design a way to make the society believe wildlife eaters, not wildlife themselves, cause this and other similar threats. "Unquote
