Although they knew that some birders were inside the boardwalk, they still slided "freely" across the mudflat at less than 100m in front of the boardwalk. But most important of all where is our 'cats' these days?     I used to see police checking out the boardwalk hides in the early part of mornings, both for the WWF ones and HKBWS on the left. But I have NOT seen this happening for a long long time now. Last year's surveys have already shown that the number of birds in the area has dropped significantly. One of the factors could be these illegal mudskipper collectors.
