「小貓頭鷹」折翼獲救 "Collared Scops Owl" Injured

An injured “Collared Scops Owl” was found at the Freight Terminal of the Airport yesterday evening. It was sent to AFCD's Animal Management Centre at Sheung Shui for treatment.
25/9/04 蘋果 Apple Daily 小 貓 頭 鷹 折 翼 獲 救
【 本 報 訊 】 一 隻 未 成 年 、 長 約 六 吋 的 領 角 鴞 （ Collared scops owl ） 貓 頭 鷹 （ 圖 ） ， 前 晚 八 時 許 ， 疑 在 赤 [立魚] 角 機 場 貨 運 站 上 空 飛 翔 時 ， 不 慎 撞 及 硬 物 受 傷 倒 臥 貨 運 站 對 開 路 面 ， 一 名 姓 陳 熱 心 市 民 發 現 將 牠 撿 回 家 中 ， 其 後 將 牠 送 交 上 水 動 物 檢 疫 中 心 ， 獸 醫 經 檢 驗 後 證 實 牠 一 隻 翼 折 斷 ， 頭 部 有 少 許 受 傷 ， 健 康 情 況 仍 有 待 觀 察 。

其實是隻夜鷹。
That was in fact a nightjar.

I would be disappointed if no-one in AFCD can tell the difference between an OWL and a NIGHTJAR; - they've had "Conservation" in their title for a few years now.
I think it's a GREY NIGHTJAR ; - there should be a few of them on migration in autumn.
