All the shorebirds and ducks fleeted when this 'monster' came charging on them. This happened this morning at the mudflat out at Deep Bay during high tide. It appeared to be people from the AFCD ...  Obviously all the birders at the boardwalk hide were totally amazed by their act and truly disappointed!

It is obvious that a team are doing a GPS survey under the supervision of AFCD.
It is a pity that notice of these actiities is not posted on this bulliten board so that birders are advised as what and when it is going to happen, in this way visitors to the Ramsar site can be shown the board walk hides without having to observe the disturbance to waterbirds that these survey works cause.
