沙埔空地一團糟 Land at Sha Po is a Mess

今天離開南生圍之後，順道到沙埔村一行。以前到錦田觀鳥都從這裡進入，但是今天發現當地已經變成一個建築地盤，並且堆滿建築材料、車輛和其他廢物，包括廢鐵和人們丟棄了的電腦。
After Nam Sang Wai, I took the opportunity to visit Sha Po, from where I used to get to Kam Tin. I was disappointed to find that the land there has been turned into a construction site piled up with construction materials and vehicles. Part of the site was also used to store rubbish such as discarded computers and scrap metal.
沙埔村的工地，據說那是河道治理工程。
Construction site at Sha Po Tsuen. I was told that it was some river training works.
當地到處都是建築材料、車輛和廢物。
The place was choked with construction materials, vehicles and rubbish.
十多隻灰椋鳥到處飛，還有一隻鳳頭麥雞。
About 10 White-cheeked Starlings and a Northern Lapwing were found.
從沙埔村往錦田的路已被封，試了多次才能繞過工地，在水牛田見到15隻以上的灰 頭麥雞（停在水牛前方）。
The path to Kam Tin was closed. After a few failed attempts, I finally got to the buffalo field, where I was treated with over 15 Grey-headed Lapwings (before the buffaloes).

我也只是三年前才第一次去，環境已經不大理想，有人玩遙控快艇，也有人用氣槍 打雀，但是仍然有不少雀鳥，包括過境的北椋鳥。
錦田一帶以前是很富饒的農地，地名就由「錦秀良田」而來，其盛況可想而知。估 計沙埔原本應該是一些荒廢了的農地，不知何時被人用作施工的後勤基地，傾倒泥 頭和堆積廢物，除了由漁護署管理的一小塊 漁業研究所之外，當地的情況好像一年比一年壞，恐怕天然的生境遲早會完全消失 。

據我所知，這一帶的農地早在十多年前給新Ｘ基買了，預備發展像嘉湖的住宅高樓 大廈！所以很多地方都荒廢了或變成貨車埸，甚至被用來棄置大欖隧道工程所挖出 的泥頭........

錦田附近有好多土地非法改變用途！
除了變成地盤外，仲有廢車場同汽車展銷場地！
我係天水圍甚至見過有魚塘貼招租告示，
叫人去個度倒泥頭添呀！
真係乜都有呀！
