Check with Lew Young or Bena of WWF to see if it is one of the ponds that they manage at Fung Lok Wai.
I have always found both Lew and Bena very quick to respond to an query

Hi Bob,
Looking at the photographs with the metal railings at the back, it seems that this is one of the ponds that backs onto AFCD's Wetland Park and is not one of the ponds at Fung Lok Wai which by the way, are still contracted out to private pond-fish farmers for management by Cheung Kong.
I'll tell the AFCD Nature Wardens at Mai Po tomorrow (Tuesday) about the hook and get them to go and take it down.
If future, it may be better if you can phone directly us at Mai Po (Tel: 2471-6306) so that we respond quicker.
