New sites for East Asian-Aus. Shorebird 東亞澳洲濱鳥保育區

For members' information
Dear all,
On 10 July 2006, six more sites in Australia, namely, Shallow Inlet Marine and Coastal Park, Discovery Bay Coastal Park, Bowling Green Bay, Shoalwater Bay, Great Sandy Strait and Currawinya National Park are noted in the East Asian-Australasian Shorebird Site Network.
With the addition of these sites, the three Site Networks now span 92 sites in 14 countries of the 23 countries of the East Asian-Australasian Flyway.
Fifty seven percent of these sites are also recognised as Ramsar Sites.
