Date: Fri, 21 Feb 2003 18:02:49 -0000 From: "Conrad Maufe-BRISTOL" <conrad.maufe@bbc.co.uk> To: <Ramsar-Forum@indaba.iucn.org> PLANET EARTH The Ultimate Portrait Of Our Planet Planet Earth is the latest blockbuster wildlife series from the BBC?s Natural History Unit. With twelve episodes covering each of Earth?s key habitats, this series will reveal our planet and its inhabitants in ways never seen before. From caves to mountain tops, deserts to jungles, open plains to dense forests, and freshwater streams to ocean depths, we want to find the most exciting new locations, animals and behaviours. Wherever you are in the world, we need your help to track them down. - Do you know any spectacular locations that you?ve never seen on film?
- Or places where animals gather in mind-boggling numbers?
- Are you aware of an interesting or unusual animal behaviour that happens predictably?
- Do you know of something happening right now that you have never seen before, or that only happens very rarely?
If you can answer yes to any of the above, we would love to hear from you. If you have any photographs or video footage to demonstrate your story, please let me know.
