The mountain that loved a bird（愛上鳥的山）
A desolate stone mountain lives alone in the middle of a desert: nothing grows or lives on it. When Joy, a small bird, stops to rest on one of the mountain's ledges, the mountain is overwhelmed by the softness of the bird's body and begs her to stay. Explaining that the mountain can provide neither food nor drink, she flies on, but promises to return each spring for a few hours. Knowing that mountains live forever and birds do not, she also promises to name a daughter Joy, who in turn will name a daughter Joy and so on, so that the mountain will always have a friend. After 100 years, when the mountain is saddened by yet another Joy's departure, his heart breaks, and tears of sadness come pouring out. A stream is born, and in the following years, Joy brings seeds to plant. Eventually, the mountain's tears of sadness turn into tears of happiness, transforming both itself and the desert into green, fertile worlds.
內容簡介：
有一座光禿禿的山，除了岩石外什麼也沒有。它只能每天癡癡地望著日出日落，年 復一年過著孤獨的生活。
一天，一隻美麗的小鳥Joy飛過這個山頭，這座山終於有了第一個朋友。
Joy飛越重山峻嶺，從未有任何一座山在乎她的來去，然而這座山卻如此渴望 她的陪伴。Joy相當感動，但什麼都沒有的山實在不適合任何小生命居住！Joy只能 答應山先生每年春天都來拜訪它，若她老了不能來，她的後世子孫也一定會有一隻 叫Joy的小鳥，每年都會來拜訪。
直到第100個春天，山終於心碎了，每隻Joy都離它而去，只留下失落與孤寂， 山傷心的眼淚流成了小溪。次年，小Joy銜來了一顆種子，山頭開始出現了生機...

關於山與鳥的故事，令人神往。單是書名，巳十分意境。
美麗、重彩的插圖，充滿視覺撼力。點只係童書咁簡單！
不禁想，也有這樣的一本書嗎？ 
"The human that loved the Kite"（愛上麻鷹的人）
有啊！可閱讀台灣 沈振中 的「老鷹的故事」、「鷹兒要回家」，
自有一番愛護、關心和保育老鷹（即麻鷹）的深刻感受。
有時，炎夏躲暑不觀鳥，孵家中閱書，也是享受哩。
書展臨近，唷呵，搜尋去也∼∼

終於逛了書展，少有所獲﹔正體驗了古人「陶侃運磚」的風雅，兼之財散人安樂了 ... 
在五小時的「力逛」下，首先，是在Hall 1右翼，國內書籍（簡體字）區，遇見一本很「恐佈」的動物故事書。「恐佈」是指只得一本擱凌亂的架上，彷彿放下了便隨時會消失了的那種。這態勢下，人不禁會被書「挾持」，抓著不敢放，直至買書為止！這書內容有各種中國內地的動物故事，包括鳥類。有些是具時、地的本土故事，＋分吸引哩。
個人認為，國內書籍區頗值得發掘。加上書價較廉，除了翻書後，有時會滿手塵粉 外，尋寶頗愉快。當中有本新出版的電影小說「十面埋伏」，由於只得一「樣本」 書，稍看一下，便即可親身體驗被「十面埋伏」的滋味，不信可以一試！
最意想不到是，在Hall 5的兒童天地，由入口處向十二點鐘位置（剛好是相反方向）的盡頭靠牆位置，有 書檔竟然有一套（兩個）「新科技」三合一兒童「望遠鏡＋對講機＋"鑊形"收音放 大器（連耳筒）」發售。望遠鏡的解晰度可以，最主要是「很貴」，價八十大圓（ 80蚊）...終於被散財童子（偶）拖回家了...
是次逛書展，看的－書，買了。聽的－CD，結緣了。玩的－都拖回家了。
至於「食」哩，下次美食博覽後，再「增肥」好了。嘻∼
