Hi all, I'm a new member and start learning on taking birds photos. Seeing some of the spectecuralar photos in this site which really inspire me! I have a few questions would like to ask about: 1) Can I drive to Tsim Bei Tsui, any place to park? 2) When is a good time? 3) Which location in Tsim Bei Tsui is the best? 4) I'm equip with 300D+100-400IS+1.4TC, is it good enough to take some photos? 5) Is it better to hand hold or using tripod for flight shoot? 6) What is the min shuttle speed for flight shoot? Thanks in advance!

Dear raycheng Thanks for posting message. Let me help the 1st question, I will leave the rest to experienced bird watchers and photographers. Since July 2003, Tsim Bei Tsui was designated as a restricted road to all traffic. The restriction starts at the top of the hill next to the Tsim Bei Tsui Marin Police Post. Any one wishing to drive into the restricted area must first obtain a permit (prohibited zone permit) from the Transport Department. Hope you would find this useful. Hi Ray, What does "the actual birds seeing area' mean? Actually birds can be seen when you are on your way to Tsim Bei Tsui. Or let's say it more accurate, birds can be seen at anywhere when you want to see them. You are suggested to join the society outing to Tsim Bei Tsui on 21 Nov. so that you can learn more about birds and Tsim Bei Tsiu. Regards, Forrest
