My wife and I saved 3 immature birds (Oriental Magpie-Robin) from the neighbor's cat who tried to get them when they tumbled out of an inadequate sized nest in our backyard. Since then we have hand fed them with raw chicken and ground beef for a while (almost force fed) and then they started eating on their own. We have them in an empty large room with two tree branches in it and mesh on the windows and door. We would like to release them into the wild but are not sure whether they have reached adulthood. They are able to fly and eat on their own. We have had them for about 5 weeks. All 3 have brown speckled markings on the chest which we read someplace was a sign of a juvenile. Any help in determining a release time would be appreciated greatly. We don't want to let them get too used to humans abd herefore no longer even handle them. Please email direct to email address below - thanks. Bill & Sue - Sri Lanka public@NibiruET.com[pre][/pre]
