I have recently collected a copy of a tourist guide to the birds of Yunnan. It introduces bird watching information, result of recent research and ringing activities, and guideline on planning birdwatching tours in Yunnan as well. The book was published by Yunnan Science and Technology Press in 2002 (ISBN: 7-5416-1700-8), cost RMB36.

這本書內容似乎沒有提及Tropic bird。從整體而言，我個人覺得這本書的內容方面有很濃厚的學術氣氛，不過如果 從資料性角度來看，實在值得一看，至少知掌握計劃觀鳥路線的方向。
我在三年前到雲南旅行，遇到當地一位學者，他當時只給我們畫了三條線和簡介了 一些鳥類和生境的資料。我們只好硬著頭皮按著這個「地圖」找鳥。
如果當時早點看這本書就好了。
