Dunlin, Calidris alpina spp (Photo Search )
In preparation for what hopefully turns out to be a
thoroughly illustrated article about the Dunlin
(Calidris alpina) I am searching for photographs of
birds belonging to either of the following subspecies:
C. a. arctica, C. a. centralis, C. a. kistchinski or
C. a. actites.
Pictures of adults in breeding plumages is preferable,
but all photos of these sub-species are of interest,
since the are all rarely photographed, especially the
latter.
Do you have such photographs, or knows who does,
please send me an e-mail: bjorn@bergenholtz.se and I
will tell you more.
