Boat trip - Poi Toi & Lamma Channel on 11 Sept 05

It was a Hot and Sunny day. 30 members joined the Boat-trip to Poi Toi and Lamma Channel. Here are the birds we saw:
On Poi Toi :
4+ Arctic Warbler
3 Asian Brown Flycatcher
1 Brown Shrike
1 Long-tailed Shrike
2 Collared Scops Owl
2+ Dollarbird
10 White-shouldered Starling
1 Magpie
1 Violet-whistling Thrush
East Lamma Channel and South of Waglan Island:
70+ Red-necked Phalarope
20+ Aleutian Tern
10+ Common Tern (2 juv)
1 White-winged Black Tern
1 Greater Crested Tern (non br.)
2+ Bridled Tern
