It is a Hair-crested Drongo to me . It shows glossy sheen in plumage, and the tail seems not forked.

Nice one, Daniel! The tail as shown doesn't lead me to believe it's a Drongo?! KK Hui ARPS www.geocities.com/kkhui_001

Great shot Daniel and good ID. This is Black Drongo. Why? a) unifrom colour of back and crown b) forked tail often looks square when fanned out. This effect is especially strong from in front. c) Hair-crested Drongo has curled edges to the tail and a more patterned back and crown b) Male blackbird does not have a black bill e) in good light Black Drongo also has a sheen on the forewing. Cheers Mike
