It is a bit loose on the eyepiece so I bandaged a rubber sling on it. Now it fits sluggly into the rubber ring of the eyepiece.     Sun Optics from Taiwan has mount for Sony DV but seems to none for DC yet.   Some tricks on 3100: This is a fully automatic DC without manual control. After trial and error, I noticed that under sports mode, ISO speed is increased to ASA 400-800. The shutter speed is the fastest possible.
