This species and Blackbird are relatively easier to be seen than other winter thrushes. However, taking photos of this species under natural sunlight will make it much more "golden" coloured and more beautiful. But then the shutter speed will be around 1/30 sec even at f5.6. Those serious photographers who have big f4 lens should not attach 1.4X for faster shutter speed. Probably needs a hide to take close up photos of this bird. That's too challenging for me.
It lost the golden qualities with flashlight.
