But not 100% sure since I haven't seen one before. Got some closer pictures. Of course can't be compared with yours, but I am quite pleased with the pictures and the time spent with this wonderful bird.   This bird appeared to be darker and more fluffy compared to the one in your picture. Is it a different one or is it because it is molding   #1   A portrait taken at quite some distance. But fortunately it was front-side lighting and cloudy. Unfortunately it is back lighting. So the bird is quite dark compared with the very bright background. Note the very dark face. I was unable to brighten it further without burning out the his very reflective shoulders. You can see how large the oriental stock is compared to the BFS and the grey heron. Poor soul!!!!   I made a trip specially to see him/her this afternoon and managed to take a few images ...     I don't normally like shots with the bird flying away from me but this one is more for a comparison (wing top pattern) with my previous one.
