Now there seems to be a more limited variety of birds using the ponds - mostly only Cormorants, grey herons, BFS, a few egrets, a few ducks etc.     This morning, the ponds were virtually empty!!! And its very cold....    Argh....     I wonder if there are other reasons why the shore birds now do not come to the ponds as often. The true fact is that most, if not all, waders use the inner ponds only for roosting purpose during high tide at Deep Bay. I did try that last time. But they were a bit out of reach for my EF300.   Should try again next time.  This morning was just too cold and I didn't bring a jacket!
