This should be my best shot today but unfortunately it is a bit over (always make mistake in overcast day  ). BTW, it is not quite a productive day to me (for taking birds photos), but very cold....

I love the shot, maybe it was better to be a bit over with the exposure as you are now able to see all the detail in the shadow area.

A nice shot, Daniel! 
I'd say just a bit over exposed, perhaps by 1/3 EV, that's all. A slight adjustment with curve in PS will fix that. If anything I'd like to see a bit more room in front of the bird ...
