299 Orange-headed Thrush 橙頭地鶇 Chung Mei 涌尾 14/2/2004 , evening Canon 1D & Sigma 800mm F5.6, ISO200, 1/30 sec It was too easy to approach, not scared by motor vehicles. It isn't as shy as it should be. Most birders think it is an escaped or buddists released cage bird. Just as those Diamond Doves found near Bride's Pool.

The behaviour of this bird is entirely typical of the species in HK. Early morning forays, unobtrusive and approachable. I don't think there is any question that it is not wild. Geoff
