If you ever observe a Cormorant taking off you will know how much energy this guy has to put in to make itself airborne. The shot was taken this morning at Nam Chung. A tighter crop for web presentation is given here otherwise the original includes the reflection of the bird, more water splashes on the right etc.

The SS was 1/320s, f/5.6
