Today (22Feb04) was the first time I got to see an owl. Thx to Stanley, who pointed me to look for Kwok 仔. I introduced myself to Kwok 仔, who kindly let me share his scope for checking out the Eagle Owl. It was also nice to have met Dr. Kwok and his son during the exploration this afternoon at TBT.

That's the same place I saw two Eagle Owls in early Jan 2004. It was found on the cliff of the big hill with a Pavillion. The big hill is the one at the Tsim Bei Tsui carpark (where most teams kicked off in the 2004 HKBWS bird race). The pavillion is the one walking from the Tsim Bei Tsui carpark The cliff is facing the mangrove and border road. Captain

Kwok 仔 was the one who found it. All of us were surprised and watched it for half an hour.(from 14:00 to 14:30) it looked like a big black cat.
