It is the Chestnut-tailed Starling. The yellow bill with blue base is charactristic.

Please note that this species in Kowloon Park is the Sturnus Nemoricola instead of the Sturnus Malabaricus. The one illustrated in the Hong Kong & South China Birds page 4 is Sturnus Malabaricus. The one shown in the photograph was illustrated in plate 73 no. 5a in "A Field Guide to the Birds of South-East Asia" A noteworthy characteristic of this species is the narrow streak of chestnut color connecting the legs and the flanks, a feature beautifully illustrated in this photograph.
