800 Azure-winged Mapie 灰喜鵲 Mai Po 米埔 28/5/2003 A group of this bird was seen right next to the visitors center at MPNR on 28-May-03. Are they Azure-Winged Mapie or something else? They were still there on 29-May-03. Picture taken with D60+EF 70-200. http://www.geocities.com/anguskmlau/030528_8655.jpg

Hi Daniel, Thanks for the confirmation. Perhaps this is already well known: I found that there were actually several of their nests up on the trees. This picture was taken this afternoon showing one of the chicks being fed. Not very well shot and I don't want to disturb them too much since there are many nests and chicks up there. http://www.geocities.com/anguskmlau/030602_9064.jpg I don't think we met yet. But I'll probably see you one day in MPNR or TPK Regards, Angus PS: for some reason, the pictures I posted doesn't seem to show up properly. Not sure what I've done wrong

That means we need to upload the photos from our computer to a hosting web server. There are a lot of web servers for people to store their files in the internet, .e.g. www.picturetrail.com www.photounme.com www.hkdcug.com www.yahoo.com.hk(geocities) - this site is having problem in displaying the photo directly in the BBS. However, you can still use it (not Yahoo at USA or other area) for storing your stuff in the internet. ...... |
| Hi Angus, Please take a look of my previous message at: http://www.hkbws.org.hk/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.pl?board=PhotoGallery;action=d isplay;num=1051940815 So as to ensure each photo posted in the BBS can be properly displayed, all of them, in fact, have been downloaded onto HKBWS file server by the moderator and the URL of each photo was modified as being linked to the HKBWS file server instead of their original hosting site, eg. geocities.
