Common Greenshank 青腳鷸 Mai Po Natural Reserve 19/9/2004 EOS 10D, 400/5.6. cropped According to the tide forecast by HKO, the tide should reach 2.0m at 1321 on 19/9/2004. However, I arrived at the mudflat at around 1200 and waited till 1430, the tide never come close...............I think the tide was 300-400m away from the bird hide. Of course, no bird come close! Did I make a mistake on intrepreting the tide or I ran out of luck? Fortunately, this common greenshank showed its sympathy to us and wandered in front of the BH for a few minutes. http://www.fotop.net/albums/dominicchan/dominicchan210/C_greenshank_4709 2_MP040919.jpg

Isn't the best tide is about 2.2m high?

For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities--his eternal power and divine nature--have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.
