014 Grey Herons 蒼鷺 in flight Mai Po 米埔 9/10/2004 1D Mark II EF600 + 2x #1: ISO800, f/13, 1/640", AI Servo AF, Ev+0 #2: ISO800, f/16, 1/400", AI Servo AF, Ev+0 #3: ISO800, f/13, 1/800", AI Servo AF, Ev+0 vegetation near lower edge cleaned up in PS #4: ISO800, f/13, 1/800", AI Servo AF, Ev+0 He was not strictly in flight. He just jumped around and stretched his wings. It looked more like dancing to me. He got a distinctive punk head and overall size is relative small. Is he just a juvenile?

All very sharp except the top one which is a tad soft on the head. You did extremely well with 2x on a 600/4 for flight shots ... not easy at all I must say. Panning in the second shot is particularly impressive too. Way to go, Angus! KK Hui ARPS www.geocities.com/kkhui_001

All of them looks great and sharp, Angus. I like the last one the most! I agree with KK that panning with 2x is difficult. You had done a good job. Please keep on sharing.
