Black-headed Gull Mai Po Nature Reserve 09/04/2005 EOS1DII, EF600IS, EF1.4II Share the landing pose of this BHG. It was taken on last Sat when the weather was lousy as usual though the tide was quite good.

A wonderful landing pose captured, Daniel! As I commented on another forum, I think a little more room at the bottom would go a long way with this one ... KK Hui ARPS www.geocities.com/kkhui_001

Daniel, this bird shows a rather pale eye. is it caused by light condition? mind have it magnified?

No, Karl, it is not caused by the light condition since the weather was very poor. I think that the bird should not have pale eye but be caused by my aggressive curve adjustment. Either I cannot tell from the original raw image as it is quite dark.
