Night Heron in-flight

There were quite a few of these juv birds in NSW this morning. Although it was a fine day, too bad the bird's face was in the shade for this pic.  The sunny day allowed me stop down for more DOF. However, its still not quite enough for this image as the bird is in very close range (image only slightly cropped for composition).
